How come we dont ever hear of a buddist straping on explosives and blowing himself up. why is it allways muslims?

If islam is a religion of peace, why dont you prove it, ever hear the expression "actions speak louder than words"?

 

They look like totally rational threads to me with perfectly sensible questions. Just because the truth hurts the image of your religion doesn't make his questions bad or invalid.

 

They are unable to prove it because it's simply not the case. It is in no way a religion of peace. No matter how many times they repeat the phrase, it never makes the phrase true.

I agree, it's the cartoonists fault they flipped their lips and had riots. It's not them or their religion, it's the fact we don't fully understand the religion of peace. All we have to do in order to live in harmony is convert. I think I will go buy a prayer rug tomorrow and prepare for my conversion.

You know, back when I joined this forum last august I was so disgusted with all the negativity towards Islam. I would get on here and try to defend. I tried to research as much as I could in order to defend and after learning more I stopped defending. Recently, the president of Iran (who as far as I am concerned is representing Islam) released the british hostages and criticized our family values for having a female soldier, yet in same month he is arresting women and keeping them away from there family in Iran who very peacefully sign a petition to beg for the most basic human rights. Here is an article about Islamic fundamentalist in Iraq who believe it is ok to use and kill little children as decoys in suicide bombing attacks. I think the point I really started to open my eyes, is when I learned about how Islam fundamentalists are treating the buddhists in Thailand. Because, WTF if you cannot get along with a buddhist there is something wrong. They are the most peaceful people and did not provoke the violence...Islam brought it to them. I used to come in here defending liberals and Islam until I started to actually learn facts. Here I am today, I have become a wonderful 'bigot' and my 'islamophobia' is on overdrive.

 

Briant, the thread was closed, not deleted (at least I can still see it)....I think this is a good time to point out that EVERYONE in this room offends someone at some point...big deal if you ask me....you can give red rep, mods can give infractions if the posts deem to be worthy of such, and people move on.

Islam is the only ideology where terror, murder, lying, stealing you name all evils in this world, ... is permitted as long as it is against unbelievers(none Muslims).

Whenever there is a major terror attack, all of you curl back to your spiritual guide books the quran, haddiths and sunnahs and ahaa!, - the quran says so, the haddits and sunnahs describe it so, the Imams teach so.

Most of you then party officially or secretly over the terror and torments on unbelievers(non-Muslims).

This explains pretty much the fact why Muslims don't stand up against terror as it should be.

At the other hand there is no other religion or ideology than Islam, except Aum Sect, that officially considers terror and all bad things as a Godly attribute and commands you to follow this way.

There are no ifs and whens even there are no moderates(impossible).

Are you a believer in Islamic doctrines YES or NO?

You say yes, I'm a believer in any and all doctrines, then we consider your dualistic approaches, because we learned from you doctrines too, as much as part of the terror in this world than terror itself and you're not gonna blind any of us any longer.

You say no, it's more the cultural thing that's involved, then head for this advice.
