Ask.com now supports XML sitemaps

    Anyways, the gist is that:

    Ask.com now supports XML sitemaps.
    You can link to your XML sitemaps file from robots.txt.

    Can you provide the syntax to do that in the robots file? I don't think I will get any real traffic from Ask, but why not?

    Yep. Actually, I had also included that information in my blog post :)


    Anyways, I think it will help adoption of XML sitemaps, both by users and search engines.

    Could you give me more details? Ask.com spider never crawls my website.

    Does any websites get traffic from ask.com? Currently most of the traffic were sent by google.

    It's in my sitemap, and I can see that it is being accessed by my log files.

    No clue if it's helping, but why not do it, right? :)

    where is the url to submit sitemaps again? 'cause the one above is not working.. it sais

    Your Sitemap was not registered in our Sitemap queue ( Invalid IP address ). Please resubmit.

    do i have to create an account or ...?
