Either way the guys got media coverage in Australia whether their saying its a scam or not a lot of people will still be buying that ebook because of it. Its hardly a scam though.
I find it astounding that everytime people get cornered they decide to call someone gay. Last I heard the official ratio of straight to gay was 9:1 - so when you say to someone chances are you are right. On the other hand it also waves a big flag that here is some ignorant twat whose opinions simply don't matter. By the way, I loved the news clips we had of Sydney's Mardi Gras. It looked like a lot of fun. I guess you didn't appreciate it though I guess he doesn't know to login in using a different browser (IE/FF/O) for each identity. Doesn't get him past the problem of matching IP addresses.
OK, here is the deal. The book comes in a word format. Anyone with any experience knows you publish in PDF, not word document. Complete and utter joke. He has lifted the entire thing from Rich Jerk, and merely had the words changed. The thought patterns and chapters are unbelievably identical. He has also copied the Rich Jerk's ad campaign by being obnoxious, rude and "I don't give f&*k coz I'm rich". He is also completely and utterly pathetic in that at the start of the book, he INSISTS (almost begs) that you only go through his affiliate links in the book, as he has been kind enough to arrange special deals. Anyone smart enough has to simply contact the companies he links to to find out there are no deals. I hate to say it, but the guy is not clever, he is a plagiarist through and through. And since he has copied the Rich Jerk, parts of the information in it are actually valuable. He has the audacity to suggest Australians make it rich online by playing poker and taking online surveys. I will give you one guess what his other sites are related to. Protest all you like...you should have bought the Rich Jerk for US $9.95
Thanks for the informative review of the ebook/word document! This sort of confirms my suspicions that the ebook isn't all it is cracked up to be. It is just sad that so many people will be ripped off - especially the "The Rich Jerk" - there is nothing worse than putting a great deal of work into a quality product and having someone rip it off and piggybacking off your success - I sincerely hope that action is taken against this guy.
It's so pathetic the fact he has tried to make money on a lie. That video on youtube from earlier really sold it for me, but when that user came on spamming how great this guy is, and the actual content of his ebook, really tied the knot.
great to see DigiPoint monitoring the forums and seeing that the 3 users posting in this thread have been banned. This probably underlines that they were the same person posting under 3 usernames and then further pushes the point that it must all be a scam nice going DP
For the life of me I can't understand why. LOL I think this is a bid to try and get people who go onto YouTube to over look the ACA report on him. It so funny how once this thread made the top 10 of Google he came on here and spammed it full of his crap. LOL I have already given negative rep to all the spammers - I'm trying to negative rep them enough so that everyone that comes on here see their red rep and can tell that those posts are crap. This dude really doesn't want the word about how his product is complete garbage to get out - well at least if people find this post in Google when they search for the rich pom the might be smart enough to hang around these forums and actually get some good advice.
I checked out Affiliate marketing and found a great site "webman.com" tells everything you need to know for FREE! and also warns the following........... "We mentioned that affiliate programs are free to join. Any affiliate program that requires a fee or payment to join, no matter how small the fee or how sincere the promise of great rewards may seem, take it as a sure fire sign that it's not a legitimate affiliate program! My advice: avoid it, as you would avoid a worm virus!" My advise? AVOID IT AS YOU WOULD A RICH POM!!!
Just thought I'd let you all know that I'm the "friend" who Burta said bought "The Rich Pom". It's shit, you can all see that now, BUT I am happy I came across it as it has opened up my eyes to all the great ways that money can be made online that are more rewarding and fun. $79 was a waste of money at the time but right now I'm happy I spent it. I just wish I could give the money I spent to my family! Anyway, blogging's my game right now, and it's far more enjoyable than what "The Rich Pom" had proposed. Wanker.

He quotes that "Australia are behind the times when it comes to affiliate marketing" and says that his strategies work better because of it. Like we've already said: He's a big, fat, bald scam artist... with a crappy car.
I must admit his ad copy is great - his ethics - well I think this thread speaks for itself. But at the end of the day I think there are a lot of Aussie's that are very "up with the times" when it comes to internet marketing...
Well his site is still running so I'm assuming the ACCC did shut him down - but that said according to alexa it would appear that the traffic his site is recieving also seems to be trailing off - but then again alexa isn't exactly a rock solid system to be judging a site's traffic.
