Don't like it, just find it too violent I guess.

I've been watching Pride until Mirko CroCop went to UFC. Now I can't wait his next fight in UFC. Can't wait to see him being a champion there :)
Interesting thing is that UFC bought Pride recently and there are great possibilities to see Mirko fighting Fedor in UFC...

I know that there's a match in Manchester but I think it is not a title match. Am I wrong?

    And it's free for U.S.
So instead of our usual $50 PPV, we get it free this time.
    :D

How so? I mean we get the old fights for free on Spike TV. But the current fights are all by PPV. I mean, you could d/l them off usenet or torrent the next day I guess.

You get the PPV and old fights free or just the old fights?

We get ALL fights free, usually on national TV. The system in Croatia (and great part of Europe) is that everybody pays TV subscription (some $13/month in Croatia) and we watch terrestrial TV programs completely unscrambled. I've just watched Champions league match and I watch Formula 1 on national TV. They used to show NBA matches when we got few better players there (like toni Kukoc in Bulls)... I've even watched Superbowl for free two years ago :)

To make a conclusion, it is far different type of broadcasting compared to USA. TV companies buy TV rights for terrestrial broadcasting and if they want to broadcast something via satellite they have to scramble it. There are TV stations that broadcast via satellite only and only the worst ones aren't scrambled. Pay per view in Europe as the Americans know it is something like SKY is doing in Great Britain and Italy, or Premiere in Germany...

I am happy to have these things the European way :)

I prefer watching Muay Thai kickboxing fights. Gotta love the elbows to the head :)

In UFC what style of martial arts is most dominant?

Its not the style its the fighter but you have to be well rounded. This means you need grappling, striking and all the little things in between such as clinch work, ground and pound etc

The days of individual styles is over.:D

Is UFC amercian? I heard it was 'coming' to the UK .. but I dunno if that was just some promotional slogan or what. I've seen a few clips of it and it does look good.

    UFC is american organization...

I can't wait the fight and another CroCop's victory... It seems to me that fighters in Pride were much stronger than ones in UFC. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Lots of people say that. I don't know jack about pride so I can't answer the question. I don't even know all that much about UFC yet. I have only been watching UFC for a year or so now...
