How many adsense websites?

Do more poeple create a whole bunch (> 100) of adsense sites that will each bring in a dollar or 2 each day, or focus on getting a lot more out of a fewer number (< 10) sites?

I have a few sports related blogs that are very young and small, but I've been thinking about getting into some PLR article websites for adsense.

everyone has their own strategies. I would buy a ton of them, and give each one attention adding new content. The longer your site is around the better, and its hard to say which will be popular.

Build 4-5 sites and try to get traffic to those, instead of making 100 sites without traffic...

Well I guess I should have expected some recomendations each way.

My initial idea was to build my own template system for PLR articles, take some time and set up a bunch of them, get them indexed and get some history to them. then when i start to work on building traffic they alreday have a little bit of history.

At that time If I get a little return from each, I'll be in ok shape. Maybe I get a couple that get some good traffic, and that might be a better way to go about it than just guessing what might work for me?

I am currently concentrating on a few sites (less than 10). I believe this will outrun the massive sites strategy in a long term :)

My experience has been that you can put up a LOT of sites quite easily with all the different software out there, however the hard part is to promote them all. Promotion = traffic = clicks = income.

Having said that, once you develope a system that can be duplicated, you should start producing as many sites as you can in different niches in order to maximize your income from Adsense.

More sites means less time to update them, add new content, especially if you have no real interest in the topic.

    Start small.

I have 3. I would rather concentrate on 3 sites than 300 sites.
    LOL.

It's a lot of work to promote and manage lots of sites. I stick to one.

If you own more than 10 sites containing adsense, I'll call it Made for Adsense websites.

sites and adsense is like man and woman

if u give all u can to 1, then u get all from 1 ...

else u get a little from many but never all you need
but managing many may cost you more resources than satisfying the needs of one single

i have one single (very large site) and get all i need :)

Well, there are people making money with either strategy. However, in the longer run, you are better of with fewer, quality sites, I think.

I have a friend who has 250 sites with adsense and makes $5-$15 from each of them per day, and sometimes on the health insurance site, they make $85 per day.

Having multiple sites that are closely related in topic can work wonders.

I have a few friends which have 10 different webhosting accounts for unique IP address's... each of the accounts would have a website related to the next. Then they cross link them. This strategy seems to work well for them.

I only have one site with adesense. I cant imagine splitting my time up, it depends on what kind of site you have though. Forums tend to take alot of time to maintain compared to something like a blog.

If you only have 15-20 pages on unrelated topics, I can see splitting them to multiple sites. But, you get too many and will you be able to give each the attention it needs?
