I don't get why it isn't a good idea lol.. I would like to build my own laptop.. Period.. I want to and I am going to.. I need a good place to buy my parts, now if you could please help me, It would be appreciated!

no one really sells laptop cases....but try newegg and tigerdirect...if you can't find them on there, I doubt you will find them.

 

Ebay sucks... prices are high and so are most posting costs. I would never buy a computer on ebay.

 

I don't know why you guys don't think I should build my own computer lol...The shells are hard to find, yes they are but there are places where you can buy them...I juts need someone to give me a link to a good site that has some.. has anybody built a desktop before..

 

I'd try newegg like was previously mentioned.. I think I've seen them there before.. You'll likely spend more building your own than buying. If you really want a decent PC based laptop CHEAP, go to Comp-USA... I think I paid like $600 for my 17" Wide screen ACER... Cheap as hell and has been a pretty decent computer for a PC that is...

 

Ive checked newegg over and over and over again, bu still it cant find it, can you guys find one...I dont want a $600 computer, the one i have right now cost me $1,200 and it took me forever to save up for, and my brother spilled mild on it damnit.. So now i want to build my own super speed laptop ... Im going to buy each part one at a time, any ideas for the processor! what kind of processor should i get I want fast and no damn P4

IF I put an AMD ATHLON 6,000+ x2 Dual core in a laptop, will it explode or can i do it lol i want it fast as hell...
