adsense don't ban websites with no content

if you look at megaupload.com, the site has no content, and each download file page has 2 ad units, some even have pictures near them

It's not the no content that's the real TOS issue - the issue is that he is asking visitors to visit a sponsor which is drawing undue attention to the adsense ads and is the same as asking them to click his ads...

He might get banned he might not get banned. Google doesn't actually respond to each site you report in a timely fashion. I know of sites that are CLEAR violations that are still running over a year later. It' actually getting harder and harder to report these kinds of sites. If it can't be fixed automatically they don't really care. They have really opened to floodgates to Adsense. Almost anyone with any kind of site can participate now.

What you need to do is see if he appears in MSN and Yahoo, but NOT Google. If this is the case then Google is CLEARLY aware of his site and is choosing NOT to ban him.

The reason is simple. This is spam to MSN and Yahoo which are failing to filter him. So the sites get traffic and clicks. Because they know about him they can pay him literally pennies for each click while keeping almost all of the money.

This is very common. Google is slapping their competitors in the face this way, and has a huge workforce of spammers making them tons of money. They can turn off the site any time they want.

It's really win/win for Google. Google is raking in the cash. No offense with the "him". I'd imagine there are a few females out there as well :)

If you're interested in an ad on your site.. what is suggested is that you just type out the URL into your browser (urls are placed under the ad text)

If one click is OK, 100 clicks should be OK, if 100 clicks are OK then they should just send you monthly checks because "stuff is sweet". They opted for the "no clicks, no excuses" policy, which is rather fair. If you see something sweet, heh, google for it. (and what 8everything said)

If you guys spent as much time worrying about your own sites as other people's you would all be rich! These people will all get busted eventually so why worry about it.

That's his new design. I brilliant design I would say as there is not much work involved in having to update the content. Normally good designed sites use around 3 colors, I guess using just white beats them designed sites hands down. lol

Yep, it looks as if his ads has gone.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but what is wrong with his site? All I see is he's going to bring his content back soon and just has a Google search box and an advertisement.
