Ok, did you ignore my previous question? What exactly do you see that makes you think PR is updating, and when is the last time you mass checked your PR? Are you aware of the fact that factoring in the PR0 Bug on raketforskning.com that you could possibly be seeing 3 different PR's when you check, and that still does not mean that there is an update showing?

And did you read this thread?

All my sites are now PR0.

How long does it usually take to go from a reset to gain the PR?

As I remember this Google dance lasted for about 2 weeks in January before PR has settled down.

Yeah it looks so, from my previous updates the PR is reset to zero while updates occur.

I just dont know the time it takes

Google does not "reset" and then update the PR, just so you know.

Ok, for those of you who haven't obsessed over Google updates since about the Florida update, the way it works is Google is constantly re-calculating the PageRank. Every time they export new data, which ranges from 1.5 times a day to up to 4-5 times per day as far as I can tell, they know what the new values are.

When people here, and every else, talk about the PR update, Google already knows what the PR is going to be. They pick a date in the past, usually about 2-4 weeks old, they say that is the new PR they are going to show, and they push it out.

It does not take several days for them to recalc the data after the update starts. Sometimes they will export, then rollback, and re-export. Often times it can take a while for the export to propagate, which is why when it is updating the only way to check is by checking a multi-dc checker... but they do not need to "zero out" your PR in order to recalculate it. The zero PR's you see on occasion, whether an update is going on or not, are communication glitches with the Google servers. They happen all the time.

    "2-4 weeks old"

In my experience it is closer to 1-2 months old, closer to the 2 months side.

OMG, one of my sites just went from a PR0 to PR8! This is amazing. I can't wait to start selling links, getting higher SERPs, and getting all the other googley goodness. Maybe they'll assign me that Google customer service rep I've been asking for.

    just kidding :)

I'm not sure why people keep asking. Just pick a single page that was created after the last update (Matt Cutts' post mentioned in the sticky is a good one) and see if it has PR. If not, the update hasn't happened.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the pages on the site in my sig got a PR6 or 7 from 0. It was linked to from fark, digg, neatorama, boingboing, and about 700 other sites. Most popular post I ever wrote by far (>200,000 uniques).
