    www.johnchow.com gives alot of good ideas and one that he uses that works well is he will link to anyone that writes a review about his site. But you need a popular site already for that to be effective.

    If your content is unique and worth reading then your site will promote itself.

    Very tough to get good search engine results. The keywords are hard to get good rank for.

    Try some pay per click ads. If site has adsense ads do not put on any traffic exchanges or forums it can get you banned from adsense.

    there is just too many of make money websites - but you will need content and GREAT content to survive out there
