Website appraisals?

Is there a such thing as a website appraisal?

 

Yes..people can appraise your site, there are tools online too (but they're not accurate at all)

 

can you explain me a bit more, i have heard about it, but don't know excatly what it means! thanks for your help.

Website appraisal is the estimate value of your site if you were to sell it. This depends on various factors such as: PR, visitors (uniques), content, value of domain, etc. Most "tools" miss these factors so they're not accurate at all! Its best to get it appraised by a HUMAN rather than a generator...

 

I have heard of Domain Appraisal on DP,
They appraise your domains and gives you a estimate price of your domain

Friend told me about that but i dunno how such sites work, it estimated my sites value to be 2.5K + and per month link rate to be 19$ per month alone

 

Those tools aren't acurate

 

Yeah, those tools suck. You would be lucky you get half of what they tell you.
