how to market a blog?

I see rss feeds is a good way of promoting blog... but do u know any websites or directories where I can submit my blog feed? or how is it done? I'm new to blogs

 

Use pinger. Try technorati.

 

For blog marketing I use a website called onlywire.com - they post your bookmark to about 20 or so top bookmarking sites. It's not the only answer but a good start.

There are some good points there. Of course you can also buy links on other related blogs. itcan bring dexcent traffic.

Write good content and get it on the front page of digg. It sends 30,000 uniques.

also does anyone know how do I check if wordpress ping works fine?

 

Though getting to Digg's first page sometimes seems a mission impossible.

 

Dont forget good old link building.
