i let my friend login to my paypal account and he tried to attache his credit card. very stupid. and now my friend after signing up with a new account with paypal he cant attach his credit because it is in my paypal account. problem is i cant remove his credit card from paypal account because the verification is not complete. What do i do?
I actually did this today..I can help, here is the step by step: Login to paypal Click on profile(under all the tabs all the way to the right) Click on credit cards(top middle one) You should be able to go from there Also, how did he manage to get it on there? I have been trying to use one of my family member's cards on my account, but the last name is already in, and we have different last names.
My experience has been that once a credit card has been associated with a certain PayPal account, it can never be used with another, even after being removed from the first account.
Yes, what Proinet said is true. Even if you removed it, you cannot use the credit card number anywhere else. Paypal does not want anyone to just reuse a credit card in more than one account to prevent fraud. Have your friend get a new credit card but then again how did he get his credit card in your account unless he shares the same name as you .
no we have different name. i think you can any credit card as long as you know the credit card number and expiration date but im sure you wont pass the verification since it isnt yours.
One of my frend faced a similar situation.I think ur account may b limited or so,u just need to wait for some days or contact paypal staff.
so, if a verify the account by the credit card and then remove it, will i still remain verified! and then when i remove the credit card, what will happen if i get charge backs, etc, thanks.......
Unless their rules have suffered change in that perspective since 2003, I was able to remove a card from a personal account and re-assign it to a business account of mine some time back. Worked for the bank accounts move, too.
