forum website

    I’m trying to start a new forum site. This is just a helpful site for information not really a money maker (at least not at first). I really like the vBulletin setup. What do I need to do to set this up? Just buy the domain name I like and then pay for the vBulletin? Help me out! What’s the process here?

    1) Get a domain
    2) Find hosting provider how provied you with mysql+php
    3) Get the Vb license
    4) Install it
    5) get nice theme from someone or modify the default theme to fit your needs

    you should be ready to go

    Also, getting paid posters makes it much easier, at least to get the forum going at first..

    the most important thing is to choose what kind of forum you want, what niche!! then you will have to promote it aswell, perhaps some link buying on other forums etc,!!:)
