What happened to it (Paypal Virtual Debit Card App)? I've been googling info on it and whenever I try to download it. It just takes me to my paypal profile. I understood it as a application that you could use online that generates CC# every use and then takes the money from your paypal to pay(please inform me if that's not right). That is exactly what I need and was wondering if anyone could help me use it. Thanks for reading, Andrew
I believe this is only applicable to US Paypal account and offered to a select group of people. If you do not see it in your profile then you are not there yet. https://www.paypal.com/helpcenter/m...ps=solutionPanels&solutionId=12986&isSrch=Yes
I have that. I mean like the virtual credit card program for paypal google "Paypal Virtual Debit Card"
I've got it -- Really recommend it. It's a program that you download on your computer (Probably already knew that). After you login, go to this link: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_vdc-intro Or, when your "Recent Activity" page comes up, it's on the right hand navigation bar "Virtual Debit Card" Yes, it takes money from your account if you have funds, or you can specify a backup source. The credit card number and info is valid for one purchase, and is good for like 2 months or whatever.
I have tried to find out if I could get this card myself as I live in Norway. Do you know if you have to be living in the US in order to get the Paypal Debit Card? - jens -
Lemme ask you this... When you make a new transaction, can you make up a new business name for each new transaction? Or is the Virtual Account tied to one name with a random card # each time?
