While the new testament may speak of peace and love, the old testament is far more slanted towards "an eye for an eye" and "kill those who don't follow the rules".

Btw, parlour tricks like posting a small sample size article source scraped up from an internet search to correct an Indonesian Muslim on what Indonesian Muslims think really isn't very impressive unless you can prove the veracity of that article.

Now in lieu of you actually going to Indonesia and providing a first hand report, and given the statistical ambiguity of that article, I think we might have to take the word of the Indonesian Muslim as the resident expert.
