How do I SSH to a server?

Hi,

I am trying to install Fantastico on my VPS and I need to SSH to the server. I have absolutely no idea what to do.

Can anyone enlighten me?

The server is running Linux with WHM/cpanel

 

Download something like the program putty and fill out the details to connect to your SSH.

 

It wont work......When I get to enter the password it wont let me enter anything. Can anyone help??

 

That's supposed to happen, just enter the password correctly and enter and it'll connect.

 

Ok Thanks crazyryan. I got SSH to work. I am trying to install Fantastico - does anyone know of the commands I need to enter to install it?
