My new directory currently beging designed, Hopefully it will be completed in 7 to 8 days time. I have $2,000 Advertisment budget. So far I have bought few PR6 links and Also submitted to number of directories (So far Spent about $300). With the budget of $2,000 What PR will I expect in 3 to 4 months time.

Mr.Wamchu that is a good budget. With it I suggest again on the Malcolm List. All are very good and recommended with the highest value for your site. That's the BEST DEAL in TOWN Right NOW. I already generalized the Malcolm List. Members don't do anything more.
There are no guarantees it is not just plain simple buying a few pr6 links its a lot more complex a matrix than that, and a whole bunch of what you have to do and not do with accepting submissions checking content, keywords, anchor text could go on and on The days of buying a few pr6 are long gone The directory needs to be with mods, unique features etc etc

I would suggest not spending all your budget at once but spend a proportion each month/week. This way you will not end up being 'careless' and buy links without researching. It will also make your backlink growth look more natural and encourage you to use some 'free promotion' methods. Over the weeks/months you may end up finding more bargains or come upon a novel promotion method that you can spend some dollars on rather than blowing it all at once.

Personally if i had that sort of money id take a look over these http://www.avivadirectory.com/strongest-directories/ , continue submitting to as many free directories as possible and possibly target related blogs or forums with text links or preferably banners (as these are more visually visable). Plow the rest into useful mods such as An0ns deep linker...
What Anon was saying is if you tell people how much you have the world has a weird way of working out so you get something at that exact price. If you haden't revealed your budget it would of been less. Lets put it this way if I'm going to a garage sale I won't drive a BMW. I'd rather go in a rusty old beater . Anyways I think you should pay someone to do ALL the free ones first. Your new it's not natural to have PR7+ links and google may penalize you for it. I'd also only signup to places that offer details pages. If they don't forget them. Try and sign up for TOP ones that offer cheap permanent listings; there are a few. Trust me you won't want to have to pay monthly it sucks unless your already making decent $$$ it's just a big expense and if you stop paying there goes your PR. Maybe spend a good portion of that 2G into making your place UNIQUE so it becomes something in itself instead of just a poorly done clone of a big dog. Also submit to all my sites at a premium (j/k).

I don't disagree with that but MOST of THEM are PAST while the Malcolm List deserves more of a VALUE. I don't have to tell you the reason WHY.
