Try Godaddy.com, they are quite affordable. You should not be looking for alternatives to leaders on this market or you may risk to purchase your domains with an insecure registrar.
I've been using Godaddy & haven't had any issues. The only thing you need to consider with them it how many domains you are going to have hosted, if more than 1, you need to go for their Delxue hosting.

About the Deluxe Hosting package from GoDaddy, 100Gb are pretty much a lot to host your domains on, and 1,000 Gb of monthly traffic allowance are plenty, the only limitation is number of databases (25) you may create.
