I am in the process of preparing legal action against the owners for www.proxy.org. The problem is that they are hiding behind a maildrop located in Pamona, NY. If anyone has any information on the group I would certainly appreciate a PM. Thanks
Without getting in to specific legal issues I will say that the result of the Google Adsense Click Fraud detection evaluation resulted in Google saying, "An overwhelming majority of the traffic coming from www.proxy.org is non-human." I think that if you understand the nature of things you can figure out what was "done".
We shall see... If you bought advertising from me and I sent you an "overwhelming" amount of fake traffic would you feel that you have been well served or defrauded?
LOL... I totally missed that one. I guess when you are flaming mad sometimes sarcastic humor escapes you.
Well they use PayPal, they have a mailbox in New York state and there servers are in Texas. At a bare minimum they will likely lose their hosting and billing but so far I can't find any physical location. I guess I might have to wait until law enforcement gets done with the criminal investigation before I have them served with the civil action.
So basically you think the the problem is: - you paid for advertising at proxy.org - they sent you fake traffic that clicked on your ads to justify the price of the advertising If this is so there should be a pattern and many proxy owners complains about banning. Why don`t you make thread here at DP and asks how many of the banned adsense account holders had a proxy and did ads at proxy.org.
Then your account was reviewed last week by Google's Adsense Click Fraud team. Together we compiled a list of about 40 advertisers on proxy.org and ALL of them showed the same patterns. Then Google evaluated ALL of the advertisers that have Adsense and listings on proxy.org and came up with the same results. "An overwhelming majority of the traffic coming from proxy.org is non-human..."
