Respect is a reflection of ones deeds, attitudes and believes and needs to be earned and can't be appointed, patronized or whatsoever. Show me what you respect and I'll tell you who you are.

In case you run around murdering, stealing, robbing, lying and so on, would you still expect that? You see, you just can't pop into a discussion without telling more about yourself. You can't respect anybody's ideas if you don't know them, I can't respect anybody's idea if I don't know them. so this why, respect has to be earned.
you are right sure. but if you and your ideas stay in your frontiers and dont harm me then I would respect you. Such as religious ideas.Those are not harmful.Everyone has right to believe something someone or Allah or not to believe. At least holy things should be respected.

seems to be a common misunderstanding from many countries. Many of the hardcore muslims on this forum assume that all of america is Christian somehow, when you can't even be born a Christian. It is a personal choice. So I am assuming you think that a name represents a persons believe in Christianity? I know the term "christian name" is used for pretty much every english name. There was a time when people did change their names when they became a Christian but I believe that was short lived.
I don't see a lot of poor behavior from Christians, Buddists, Hindu's, Sikh's, etc... Every group has its bad actors, but with Islam poor behavior appears to be: Taught in the "holy books" Taught in the churches Taught in the church schools Accepted by a significant percentage of the believers As an atheist, Islam really does -- to my eyes -- appear to be a different sort of religion. They are worse than soccer fans.
