Why and how did you become a webmaster?

Why(instead of other jobs) and how did you become a webmaster?

 

why? coz i love php
how? by learning

 

i became a webmaster, about 5-7 years back, when i was learning html! i though about making sites, start blogging etc, and i become a webmaster.

still a lot of work has to be done, but yes, am a full time webmaster now!

 

Why? Because being a webmaster is an in demand job and brings me updates in and outside web.

How did I? Online resources, books, and forums help

 

IT was an accident (I have a story to it lol) but right now.. I'm staying a webmaster as a part time job to pay off for tuition and such.

 

LOOOOOOL, i wanted a free ipod, u know them referal schemes, and i tried gettin all my friends 2 sing up, then i realized how some sites ofering the same offer also had a little referal number at the end of the link, so it got me thinkin - thats the way foward, so a few days latter i was ill , got a stomach bug couldent move much i had no energy(had a week off class), so i bought a domain name after lookin arround how 2 build a website, went on2 a basic html tutorial learned in 2 days, got a site up with in the 5 days bit by bit, with random content like ringtones free games online, psp stuff. went 2 a few chatrooms spammed sayin free ipod got a few people 2 sing up and then came acrosss the most wunderfull thing ADSENSE. my mind was bubling with ideas, that was arround long ago, Guess what guys, i never got an ipod , but instead im getting 70 dollars a day in average from 50 in some rare ocassions to upto 110 in other days with a 15% a month growth rate id say . and yes that is my story im still in class and i have 2 keep this from a lot of people including friends because people become really jealus but its ok im used 2 it now.

 

My undergrad degree was in programming...I had one class where we had to make a website (That was about 8-9 years ago)...so I just went from there.

Well i was in a highschoole at Informatics i started surfing on the internet and loved it

Started to build my own site (personal one) afther i finish highschool (3 years ago) i started freelanxcing (still my maine income) and i started adsense and my own site last year

I think it's the best ocupation staying home making more money then usual jobs ....

 

cool money the more you work the more you get,be your own boss,no need to move here and there.

 

I learnt php originall during my degree and continued from there
Unfortunately although im good at making sites im not so good at making money off them. But that will come!

One day soon ill be a full time web guru

Why I became a Webmaster??
Ummm. Because at this age I cannot do a job (still in College ) and By webmastering I can earn few extra bucks too

How I became a Webmaster ..?
About I year Back, In a local Newpaper (Mumbai Mirror) I read about Google Adsense and Blogger found it Interesting and straight away started with a blogspot blog and now it is pretty much fine for me

Love to earn some $$$$ online

 

I am in college too!
I hope I can earn enough from home so that I don't have to take a 9-5 job

 

I became a webmaster because I was tired of dead end jobs, where I had to work for "the man." I became a webmaster by building and marketing my websites.

 

Why ? I'm a webdesigner and i want to lean more about web development,

How did I? Forums, and friends

 

Why?

I am student so don't have good job at the moments so I am webmaster.

How?

I seen some earning from Google ads on different forums so I start my blogs to earn money.

 

why?
cuz im 16 years old and my goal is to be self employed all my life

I like web programming and even though I have a full time job, I want to retire at 40.

 

I had cancer last year - and needed something to occupy my mind while I was having chemotherapy. I developed my first site - http://www.trafficbunnies.com - and have since built about 20 other sites.

Even though it was a yucky time as far as my health went, it was good - because I met all of these great people and found that I had skills I never knew I had

 

Why?
Extra income . Its fun and i like doing it.

How?
When i started my first site i never knew about adsense. I was just running the site helping people out etc. Then i have no clue how i got to this forum, but when i did the income came pouring in .
