I've been hyper super turbo speed typing since about 1987, and haven't handwritten anything other than shopping lists and my signature since about 1995. Now my handwriting totally stinks. So who else can't write good no more?
bad! Its been declining ever since I started using the PC/laptop more and more.. typing is neater and faster!
It's bloody shocking, to the point where my signature looks different everytime. Wierd cause everyone used to tell me I used to have computer writing.
It sucks, literally, I had an exam today and damn... only today I came to know how crap my handwriting had become. IT
yes my hand writing is slow and stupid!! can't imporve it, tried and failed. i still remember, in the computer lab, mam was dectating and every one was writing on the copy, and i was the only one typing everything. i even made a table etc, and typed everything. she reads a bit fast, so i was the only one who completed what she said!! typing rules, forget the pen
Well, I can feel proud with my handwriting, cause it is still readable , since i've been using pc since 1998. But when I was in school (before 1993), i had a very good handwriting and my teachers, freinds would always appreciate me.
Yeah I agree. I learnt how to touch type about 20 years ago from a dictatorial Singaporean teacher in high school - I can still hear her demands each time I press a key, kinda like a typing GrandMaster... "Fingers on the HOME KEYS!" "No looking at the keys!" "No swinging on the chairs!" Without a doubt the most useful thing I ever learnt at school. I'm up to about a million WPM
When I was in college, I have a very neat handwriting. Now, it seems that I'm using my left hand to right (I'm right-handed). In short, my handwriting is "unreadable"
that is not bad, i can't read my own handwriting after a few months! i seriously need to start writing, i mainly write in the exam papers!
My handwriting was never particularly great even when I was in education or needed to write at work. Since writing less and typing more, the decline has been quite shocking really to the point that I only write in capital letters!
