You'll need a few things to get started:

    - first off, buy a domain; the name should be related to the website theme; you'l get a .com domain for $8 at godaddy.com
    - buy a hosting; you need to host your website; good hostings start from around $100 per year; dreamhost has good price/quality ratio
    - if you plan to update your website often install a cms on your hosting; wordpress is the most popular tool these days
    - write content, quality content
    - register your website to directories to get some backlinks
    - promote your site to get more backlinks
    - register your site with adsense; have a good quality website, otherwise you'll be rejected
    - place the adsense code into your website
    - money will start rolling in :D

That's the basic guide. As you progress you'll come across some problem. Just keep asking, people will help you.

    All good advice from finspin.

One thing I've learnt... if you're not 100% confident in your idea/niche, then register a domain than can be 'anything'. e.g a catchy nonsense word. If your first idea is a failure, you can use the same domain for another completely different idea.

Also, think about Commission Junction or other affiliate networks as an alternative to Adsense. Probably not as easy as AdSense to start off with, but worth checking out.

If you read all the threads around this forum you should be able to learn pretty quickly! All you have to do is purchase a domain name that fits the subject of your site and is easy to remember, then you need to find a good host, I personally use HostMonster...They`re pretty good! after that you need to get traffic.. For that you have to work on building your back-links up.. That will increase your PR, page rank ..Then visitors will come! That takes a lot of time and commitment.. If you want visitors to keep coming to your site then your content must be unique and updated constantly..

    Money.
Well making money from your site isn't to wonderfully easy.. Traffic = Clicks.. Bidvertiser pays through paypal, but the suck.. google is much better. they pay you at the end of each month or when you reach $100..

Good luck and if you have any other questions please pm me, I can help!

    Regards

    - Before you reg a domain, do your first design and content for your website. Then think of the scripts to be used to your site. After you reg a domain, upload all your finished html files in ftp.
    - Many ways, more like 77 or something.
    - Paypal, xoom, or any money transfer sites. :)
    - Adsense is a product made by Google that enables you to show list of ads, or ad images that if a visitor clicked on them, you may get a revenue from the ads clicked by a visitor.
Adwords is a pay per click program powered by Google that appears in Google search engine that once clicked, you have an added revenue.
