Just wondering, does anyone actually ever pay more then $20 a month. I've seen some people with 3,000 posts, now I doubt the $1/100 rule apply then..Do people actually pay $30 a link, if so thats crazy...

That is a lot more than what they go for at Namepros. I have 1200+ posts there, and I probably wouldn't be able to get more than the NP$ equivalent of a couple of dollars.

I have 2 links in my signature that cost over $20/month each. I wont give exact numbers. The buyer has also set up a paypal subscription and has agreed to pay for a number of months, regardless of my posting habits.

$10 for 1000 posts is the basic rate, then you can leave it for bidding, and probably you can get more money from it:rolleyes:

I would choose whose sig line you are buying carefully. Do you really want your site associated with some freak that posts off topic posts about the end of the world?

That really depends on the site on the other end of the link. Some sites are really not geared towards this audience no matter what you do, so the only value you might get for those, by buying someone's sig, is simply to get more backlinks out there and get the spiders to notice your sites more often.

I've seen people auctioning sigs and them going for more than $20, but only if the user has a lot of posts and a lot of rep.

If you want exposure, a very active user is worth the price.
