Well something is going on. Yes that's vague but I've been seeing similar activity. Whether it's an backlink update, an update, or Google just messing with me..well who knows.
3 tests 3 different results. tests taken 4 hours apart, at 9am bst then at 1pm bst and again at 5pm bst taken at 5pm BST
Its because the tool you are using mcdar might have bug... actually datacenter ips ending with .105 {xxx.xxx.xxx.105} are not responding so the tool is displaying ZERO when it fails to get response. So far i am not seeing any PR change yet.
see aint you the smart one, i would never have looked at the ip#s they just take up the extra space on the left, without them it would just look bare.
What you are seeing with backlinks is a glitch: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=288841 and not indicative of a pending update. As this canonicalization update rolled out, we also got a backlink update (pretty much a side effect of PR rollout or adjustment, it seems that it HAS to happen). We may see a PR update soon, but you may as well reset your countdown to roll from late March for one that is not somewhat glitchy...
