Hi there, I see alot of people selling their signature links on DP. My question is, is it really worth it?
Yes they are worth... Digitalpoint signature links are : SEO friendly (not no-follow), You get lot of google backlinks and high traffic from such a highly active forum
Do you mean I can increase the PR of my site putting a link of it in my signature? It would be a pity not to use your signature wisely.
Selling your sig is certainly worth it (depending on price I reckon). The real question I think would be is buying a sig worth it? I'd sell my 4th spot without question, and I'd sell my sigs on other sites as well (which I'm currently working on). It only takes a moment to change my sig, and I'm posting anyway...I might as well get paid for what I enjoy. Q
Only problem i have is how long will they keep your url in signature. I would want them to tell me exactly how long it will be in siganture before i buy any.
It is really worth. Because these forums are very well indexed in google and other Search Engines. So whatever posts are made are taken by googlebot within minutes, if not seconds. Mainly it is to build backlinks and also become more indexed in search engines...
It definetly is worth it, considering you get a pr boost and actual traffic its one of the best links you can buy.
it'll help pr somewhat, like a lot of members profiles here, have a PR1 or PR2 lol, get a link in their signature, get a PR backlink as well from their profile lol i sell 3/4 spaces of my signature, the other is mine
I've noticed a slow trickle of traffic coming from my signature links. Not sure how much it's help in my SERP's as I don't have thousands of posts, but it certainly doesn't hurt.
typically speaking sigs are worth 1 cent per post [for the guy who asked about how much they're worth] hope that help ;]
yeah, i agree with that but..i use that to start my auctions lol, if i have 500 posts i start auction for $5 so i get $1 for each 100 posts eventually bidding just goes up, if it doesnt, i get the amount of money i need all works out
