Greg, what to be the boss, he has prissy attitude and bad behavior. He kept playing with each other in the team and tried to control like the British did in countries where they ruled. Divide and Rule. He just killed Indian Cricket. How ever selected him did a bad move. Worest SOB to be a coach.
I think we have won only 2 series under Greg chappel period. WE flopped in south africa and also in west indies. This is too bad for the indian crickters couldnt perform well under his period
Well this is really good for Indian cricket becuase he has bad attitude and we lost many things under his coaching like:- -Greatest Indian captian Ganguly out from team in back and after this we have no good leader. -We lost Kaif,Raina who has great talent and now both are out of the team. -Irfan Pathan is not a part of Indian team. He creat many problems in teams and use Divide and Rule ticks here. Before someone fired him he is very claver to Resigned as Indian coach.
greg has gone, am too happy. we did party last night, enjoyed a lot. actually i was shocked when greg chappell told sachin was a mafia[and challenged his atitude]. well, saurav is known for his agression, but then sachin was always calm and quite, why drag him!! there is something wrong with greg! he should take some break, perhaps losing out in the world cup in the first round, has made him a bit of mental case!
I cannot stop myself laughing after reading some comments by naive brethrens. Chappell did nothing but wonders to the Indian Cricket - if anything that failed was the 11. Chappell's nothing but a coach and he showed the reality of Indian Cricket - no-nonsense attitude is what rules, his job is not to bat poor or bowl poor, his job is to lift spirits and attitudes of the players - which he did every now and then. He didn't like the lethargic attitude from Ganguly (don't forget, Ganguly was turned in to a HERO or GOD by pathetic Indian media touting him as most successful captain - yea, you win games against Kenya, Zimbabwe & Bangladesh, and are labeled as HERO - which got the better of Ganguly but Chappell comes in and he challenges him, go and win on foreign soils). Indian team has failed big time on foreign pitches. Tendulkar too lately has failed outside India - I remember his days from early and mid-ninties when he used to thrash aussie, windies bowlers on their home pitches but that has not been the case lately. I can go on and on but it would be wise after you folks read some feedback from professionals. Ravi Shastri, Sanjay Manjrekar, and the likes. I wish Chappell would have stayed and BCCI would change it's style of operations for Indian Cricket - but hey - I know I am asking too much!! Way too much
news say that greg said sachin has not much desires left for cricket,this made the little genius to speak against him...he said he cannot tolerate that his intentions are being tolerated....
i think he had to.hes a stupid guy who destroyed indian cricket.i cannot forget what he did to saurav.he even destroyed irfan pathan who was really confused and never knew what his role was in the team.
Infact saurav's return of form is due to Greg. Greg really showed a mirror to the much hyper about super stars of Indian cricket and to the whole system.
greg chappell should be happy with the form of saurav then!! but he is not greg chappell did not told a single word to any of the senior cricketers, starting from saurav, sachin, kumble!! through out the entire tour of world cup! the problem was somewhere else! in india the juniors give too much respect to the seniors, and seniors try to maintain that!! that is our culture and indians are prowd of it. greg chappell did not understand that, and he though sachin was acting like mafia, but then the juniors treated sachin like god and not like mafia. almost same was the case with saurav, but it is too difficult for greg to digest that. i think it is better for him to leave, and am happy for him. now, ravi shastri is our new coach! let's more foreword
