    hello everybody,

    i am new to the business, just need to know what is link selling/buying?

    why do people sell and buy links?

    people buy links to increase their search engine PR? or to attract human traffic?

    if it is just for search engines, then can someone specify a page of his website just for links and start selling 10 or 20 links to be put at this page or what?

    Bottom line: How That Business Works???

    it's funny you said that.. personally i would never buy a link unless for certain it will increase my traffic from day one... eg: buying a link from a site that has good traffic and my link is in a strategic place...

    but i guess people buy links to improve pr without receiving more traffic... :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

    people buy links to increase there search engine ranking.

    if you BUY links to increase PR you probably need to find a new industry, plain and simple.

    People who chase PR generally do it via methods that do not require buying links.

    People buy links for whatever reasons they believe they should do so. Some are interested in boosting traffic to their website(s), others are voting for PR increase, so many interests that you will never be able to fit inside a single scheme.

    If people are just buying links to increase thier PR, then why don't they post a free article with a link to thier website, and save their money!!

    there are alot of PR3,4,5 and even 6 article directories online

    am i correct?

    but it is a bit silly not to use your backlinks for search engine rankings. That can give you much more traffic than instand traffic

    Yes, I agree with what you've mentioned and it's exactly what i mean a few post ago.

    If make an investment it's important to calculate the benefits I will receive and a n estimated ROI. Working on this basis you can know if it's worth buying a thousand dollar link or if a bunch of $5 dollar links are just as good or even better.

    The page your link will be included at the directories with 3,4,5 PR doesn't mean it will have the same PR. Usually the pages your link appears are PR 0

    You can get a boost in your rankings and get traffic depending on where you buy the link. The best thing is when you can hit two birds with one stone.

    OMG is that realy true?!! so if i posted an article with my link to a PR6 directory but the article page was PR0, that will mean that it will not help my website at all?

    Can anybody confirm this please? :confused:
