Suggestion for PHP Link Directory Web Directory Owners

I'm wondering lately that there are lots of deeplinks MODS Directories coming out. Just trying to figure out which is an ORIGINAL WORK and which is a RIPPED OFF coz this is HEAVY SH*T.

Are other Directory OWNERS getting CHEAP ?

I will ask especially Mystik and the others and we'll talk this OVER at YM.

I've heard of some "Directory Owners" and PHPLD Members on the RIP OFF Rampage.

This is not GOOD. Its NOT HEALTHY for the INDUSTRY.

 

Till the time you are getting deeplinks, how does it matter which mod is being used...

malcolm runs the sites that I haven't done by me and I already told him that if they are deep linkers, then that is fine by me.

Again, this is not deep link related. It's a different MOD.

If this MOD gets ripped off, you will see a pissed off me, and you will start seeing alternative MODers MODs in retaliation and flying out left and right. (this isn't dargre either. we have an understanding with one another already)

There was already ONE fuck up(that is the clue to who it is), and' I'm not going to stand by and watch another happen, especially when I gave my lists of MODs so there would be no bumping heads.

And just so when that person who trying to get over reads this post, I know exactly who you are, You've already asked me for the MOD, said it was too much, said you could do it yourself (obviously you can't) and you *just* solicited me for another Deep Links MOD on tuesday gmt+10.

Now you know I know who you are.

This is really painful and sorry to hear that such type of acts or ripping of are being performed by some of the DP members.

I can clearly understand how f**ked up is this, when people do rip off and and then cross each others path ...

BTW: I just came to know.. that who is the person its really bad!

 

Well I didn't really want to post this but It seems that it's me ppl are talking about, I didn't rip any mod,I got the mod info from a very old post on phpld forums, way before this mod, I tried to do it, but failed cause it was originally made for a very early version of phpld, so I got a well known and respected coder to make it work for current versions.

I have not shared this mod info with any one else and won't, the coder did one site for me and I did the other with the information he gave me.

Remember this info was around way before this so called deep link mod, so Rob If you think I ripped it your wrong.

And yes that was me asking If I could have another deeplink mod! Is It wrong to ask? If I ripped your mod would I ask, or even better why ask I can just copy on what you did on my other sites, but this would be wrong and I'm not a person that does these type of things.

What else can I say? I'm really shocked, rob If you need any additional info please PM

I'm Tired of this Bull Crap. I don't get it anymore. For a Small Amount we have to go through this. Many of the people who have the MODS installed already has the payment payed back by submission from other directory owners.

I'll donate $20 bucks if necessary.

 

Yeah, we should not submit in directories which are just trying to make a extra buck by ripping of mods.I honestly got submissions of around 500$ and deeplinks cost is only 100$ and i spent it all back.Will surely purchase other mods of An0n Soon!

I'd have to second that and also say that I gave quite a bit of what the deep link mod generated for me right back to Rob for a few more mods, almost like a never ending cycle

I am sure everyone has seen birtishguy's image uploader, correct?

Well I have an image uploader myself. Not only does it allow you to submit on submit, but it actually recreates a mini thumbnail from the larger size that you upload and stores it into the database for use as a 'detail page image' and a 'thumbnail' in directory. It's a much much more efficient image uploader bar none. the thing is I spoke with this 'respected' code about a week ago, and was told that he has one. Now, with real respect and because he said he offered one already, I never released mine, even though I know it's better.

It's a coder's ethics not to bump heads and you always draw a line.

If you think that isn't bad enough, I have David(phpLD owner) trying to steal my f*cking MODs too.

So you wanna know why I get pissed? Well now i guess I can say 'the more you knew'

So what do I have to do, Write my own directory script and have to compete with phpLD? I'm sure everybody here would love a DirectoryDump'esk directory script, with all of the inside features I already have.



btw...

I do have another MOD, and it's a super sponsor MOD, that allows submitters to submit to a specific category, to sponsor it (like BOTW), and thos elistings reside above the featured listings.

It's fully admin driven and there isnt anything like it around yet for phpLD. It hasn't been released because I am still testing and testing and still testing to ensure it's integrity, because, afterall, I have to support it. Lets watch this get ripped too.

When everybody in the industry knows who made this MOD first-- why do you still RIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP? Why do directory owners buy from the rippers??????????????????? ( I don't know if anybody bought --if no I am sorry)

If you have the calibre and talent--just go and make a unique MOD --that would challenge our present numero uno an0n and earn respect from the industry. It would make the industry a world of good if new innovative and useful mods are invented ---rather than ripping some-one that is hurting.

I challenge any programmer--coder to change an0n's supremacy . Competition is good for democratic environment --ripping is --shit

Just submitted my sites to this directory. Boy and I got short of what to include in the deeplinks. That is too many.
