Hi everyone I see that some people are experiancing a change in their PR. I was one of them a couple of months ago when my PR went up from 0 to 4. I am trying to get a higher PR ever since. So I decided to do link exchanges with sites that have a PR4+, so at the moment I have some PR5 and 6 links (BTW if you could offer me a PR4+ link please PM me ) So at the moment I am buying and exchanging links with PR4+. What else can I do? I am activally adding contents by using a free automated service that allows me to add reprintable articles on my website. I also have a directory which has over 3000 links and gets around 50 new links daily. I also have a forum that I havn't officially launched yet but still gets members and posts. I have plans for a webstore and a tutorials section too of my website. So what else do I need to do? Thanks
Get backlinks from strong websites and keep adding content, preferably unique articles, submit press releases, etc. The link development section of this forum should help you achieve your goal, good luck with your site!
I have submitted to most if not all these directories and I got approvals from some of them, I am still waiting for dmoz and yahoo's and other big directories approval. Regarding articles, you don't recommend using that service, so would it be better if I write my own articles?
PR it depends on High pr links Olso the link exchange (being reciprocal) is wise to do only with related sites
Sounds like you are on the right track. Look at the competition for your nich and try to one up them in quality content and features.
It's important to get links that are relevant not just ones with high PR. Search engines won't pass on much PR if it's not relevant.
Read up on SEO in general. PR is not everything and does not mean that you will get more traffic. PR will come if you do good SEO. Christoph
Create Linkbait, give sites a reason to link to you because you have something nobody else has. This will spread naturally, and is alot cheaper and easier then scouring the web looking for sites to pay just for putting your link up. I made a PR6 site, and didn't pay 1 red cent for links or advertising in any form. Just be creative.
thats not true. If the site has a lot of potential people will exchange based on that or they should. Who knows they do the exchange now and when you PR6 they have a great deal. When writing for a link exchange don't just do it on PR - but sell your proactiveness in marketing your site, it's future potential. And also current traffic can also be independent of PR so is also a selling point.
you can look dp forum link development section http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13 . it's a good resource for link building
I have talked to several people with PR6 websites and they said that my website isn't good enough. Thats why I am discouraged
