Is it still fun? Many people have average jobs, and really enjoy playing with websites part-time. But, once you go full time do you still have the same pleasure, or does it just become like a mudane job (after all a lot of web based work is quite repetitive in nature). Thoughts?
Yes I know exactly what you mean. Nowadays I try to just do the jobs I really enjoy and pay other people to do the ones I find mundane. But to keep expanding and growing you've still got to work hard, the key is to work hard at something you enjoy then it's not really work. Good luck with your goal ninjashoes (cool name), your goal is certainly possible and feasible.
Thanks for the info DCT, I've often wondered that. I think I'm the sort of person who becomes bored of things quickly, even if there's money involved
How do you come up with ideas for the gadgets to review on your blog? Does it involve a lot of research?
It takes time, I subscribe to 500 or so RSS feeds and manually check a 100 or so sites without RSS on a daily basis. I've also registered my interest with various PR companies and shops. It takes time to build up but is worth the investment. Thanks JosefVirek, this place has inspired me on many an occasion so it's nice to give something back every now and again.
DCT congrats so if $10.000 per month than per day it should be 10000/30=$333 Yeahhh very much Well if I'll improve my web 5X times than I'll be like you! Besides how old you are in this bussines?
Like most people here I started off at under $1 per day and it's built from there, so improving by 5X is way possible, just stick at it and learn and earn. I've been doing Adsense somewhat seriously for 2 year though have been using it for a bit longer than that. Probably time for me to do another plug I am documenting a lot of the stuff I've done and income growth over time over on <plug>Self Made Minds</plug>
Awesome Al , now this is the right time for me to give a call to you after the gift (mobile charger) you sent me for some time Congrats for the income level Amit
How do you find time to manage so many sites. It appears from your comment that you spend an incredible amount of time searching for information for your main site (CG), so how do you make time for the others?
