I say Namecheap.. only because I love them! $3 ea... People will say godaddy.... only cuz they have a 1.29 sale going on! ( Something like that )
You could also give this a read: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=2524215&postcount=941 While GoDaddy is the cheapest option when registering for 1 year, it might be a better option registering them at MyDomain. Cheaper renewals and all.
Yeah the renewal fees are a mother! I plan on registering multiple .info's and it will cost me a crap load just to renew all the domains in 1 year from now.
I did register bulk .info names last week at MyDomain.com They cost me a total $178 for a 2 year registration, 21 domains. Who can do it cheaper?
Definitely Registerfly, the best registrar around! Just kidding, they were known for their cheap .info. In all seriousness, you can't really beat Godaddy's promotional prices.
Yes you can, read my post up. With a little research you can find out that GD isn't quite the cheapest for the .info names. Although for the classic TLD's they are very competitive.
Same price for the first year of purchase. However, if you do a 2 year registration, You'll save with MyDomain. Furthermore, renewals at MyDomain are cheaper, too. Bulk renewal prices also apply. While at GoDaddy, they are fixed at $9,99 + ICAN fee.
Wrong, they charge $25 cents ICANN fee, hence $1.24 as told before. All registrar services abide to pay this fee to ICANN, but all of them integrate those cents in the final price except GoDaddy to mislead people about its cheapness. Even though GoDaddy is the place where they are cheaper now, the following are Domainsite $1.99 and Dynadot $2.99, no hidden fees, but all of them ask for regular renewal fees for the second year.
Right now Godaddy is running a .99cent program on .info domains. Not sure how long it will last but seems like a good time to buy one if are planning on it
Already said both things, domains at Godaddy are announced at 99 cents but they cost $1.24 due to ICANN added fee at checkout
Why don't you register then @ Godaddy for $1.24, then renew then with another registrar like Mydomain/Dotster?
