Real Estate in China ... it's go go go grab a bargain and triple your money in 10 years but you need to be able to run fast since their human rights policies are quite backward.
a million is not a lot of money if you live in New York, you can't retire with just a million if you are younger than 30
Nah.. I live in India and here $1 = around 44-45 INR So that means $1 Million is huge money for Indians and enough to start a good business
You won't get much for $1 million. In your case it must be something you like and can identify with it and then work hard to keep the kite flying. also you need to have experience. You wouldn't feel it as hard when you like what you do. If you don't consider any of the above and you are of a patient nature you can speculate in the penny market (stock market/Ameritrade etc.). I know of people they make a good living from this and travel 8 months a year.
Totally disagree..........I live in the U.S, give me a million and I'll never work again.......guaranteed. It is best to stop listening to mainstream financial info. It is a psyop. Most Americans don't have $10,000 in savings, let alone a million...I know because I worked at a large bank here in the U.S. A million dollars is and will continue to be an extreme amount of money until the average person can get it like $20, which is no time in the distant future.........despite inflation.
Well, it all depends on what type of life you're planning to live. A nice big villa in a good location costs more than 1 mil. How about a nice sport car? A boat? I can go on and on. Of course, you'll have more than a decent life but, still nothing too luxurious. The more you have, the more you want
$1.000.000 is nothing here. The house bellow, 2 min walk away from me costs... over $1.300.000 and its quite average. quite sad...
$1 million is a lot of money if you look at it from the right perspective. Most broke people think of what they could buy with 1 million, but I think of how much freedom I would have because of not having to work for someone else. I would get a modest home somewhere in the South or Midwest region in the U.S, and I would live off the interest. I would be free to study, acquire knowledge, travel, and do a lot of other things. I don't care about villas or ferraris or yacts or any of that junk, because you become a slave to those objects. If your goal is to buy the best of everything, you will never get a million bucks, and even if you do, it won't last you long. If you believe in "financial independence" like me, then it will last until the day you die.......... The freedom of doing what you want is forever more valuable than any car, house, boat, watch, or any material item. I want to buy freedom, not things...... Its sad to see some of you here say that $1 million is not a lot, when if you had it, you would have more than 95 percent of the entire Earth's population of 6 billion. Ask anyone living in a third world country is it a lot. Then you have stupid tv shows debating about whether you can retire on a million.........come on, why type of stupid question is that? Maybe not in Malibu or Manhattan or Pacific Palisades, but who wants to live in those yuppy rich crap places anyway? Yes, you can retire, it just depends on where you live, and what your values are.
I don't even need a million dollars lol... if I had a million I would put $950,000 in the bank and use $50,000 on my own site... $50,000 can get you content + links to your site... with $50,000 alone I can rank high in several niches to get me $50,000 per month lol... then just live with that... (I actually am making $15,000 per month right now so please don't say I can't do it... I can if I had the money... but I don't as I am a college student.)
