Wanna Design Me an Awesome Logo? See my $35 Logo Contest!

Hi everyone! First time getting a Logo done through this subsection of the forum

Some details:

Contest Details:

• US $35 for the contest winner
• Contest ends in 7 days from the time this thread is published
• I reserve the right to end it earlier if I don't see anything I like (doubt that will happen) or if I decide to go with a design I like.
• The finished logo should be of very high resolution and in both bitmap or gif format and PSD format as well.
• Logos must be entirely unique and cannot be copyrighted or stolen from other websites.
• Full rights for the logo will belong to me and the designer will not be able to distribute, sell or republish this logo elsewhere.
• Payment via Paypal only.

Logo Details:

• Need a logo for http://www.doshdosh.com
• Logo name is "Dosh Dosh"
• Tagline is "Helping You Make Money Online"
• Both Logo and Tagline should be included.
• Logo should be web 2.0/cute/Anime-ish or Japan-ish style
• If you have more than one design, please submit it as well.

Take a look at the website and you should easily be able to tell what type of logo will fit there. The overall design for it is quite consistent so the logo will have to reflect the flavor of website.

No hard feelings if I didn't pick your logo in the end alright? There's a lot of designers here and I'll only choose the one I like best. Nothing personal.


Note I will however, give green reps for everyone who submits a design.

i might make one, autorave, i know u said it has to be unique, but would it be alright if i used maybe one or 2 anime pics, maybe the ones on your site already?

 

Nice stuff Tropica.. except that the anime girl looks a little morbid.. brighter colors and a cuter, cheerier chick might be better.

I think the font also looks a little odd.. something more cuter/web 2.0 would be better.. maybe try a different color as well. I'm not too sure if I want the logo color to be the same as the title colors..

 

Well, i have same ques. as mitchar asked ....

Can we use anime pic from yours site or something ?

I am going to make one logo right away ...

Yup.. I think you can try using one or two anime pictures. Pick any picture you like... I don't have a preference at the moment for any girl.. but will post if I have something in mind.

The font is still a little too professional or hard ... and the girl should probably be wearing some clothes. They just don't seem to go together for now.

ok, the background of mine is transperant, except for the grl, its background is white, although when you put this on your site, you cannot see it as you background is white anyway, if anyone know how to get rid of this white bit using illustrator could they please tell me as i am having some trouble doing it!

 

Why aren't you using photoshop for this site-only logo? You used to use it!

Good effort Rajat.. I think there's too much reflection.. making it a little too hard to see the words. The color is too bright as well. Good use of blonde haired girl though..

 

i know, i normally use photshop, but i am trying to learn to use illustrator, as it gives a much better and cleaner image, i am going to get like a illustrator tutorial or guide or something soon,

 

Thanks mitcharr... I don't really like the image lol.. and the font seems a little messy. I don't want purple for it also...
