I tried clicksor, did not do very well for me, it actually depends on the theme of your website.

    Thats totally true...

If you have tons of traffic try adbrite. You may want to give kanoodle a try also.

141 clicks out of almost 100,000 impressions... :(

it looks like they don't have that many advertisers, it's always the same crappy ads

I liked the way it was all in bold and big twice so we wouldn't miss it.

Wasn't there another really long thread about an Adsense Alternative blog which ended up with insults flying all over the place until somebody got banned.

I imagine not. I think he probably thinks that posting it every time a thread has the keyword "ad" in it, is though. :)

I used to get around $20 a day from adsense and only $3 or so from clicksor. I need to try it out on my new forum some time.

I too feel clicksor is not giving enough money.
Google adsense gives me very better results..

The only good thing about clicksor is the keyword highlight and the ability to lock it. I had a very popular download thread with just a link that was doing very well in google. When i removed the link all that was left was the highlighted "download" here keyword which 90% of the thread readers used to click

Sorry for bringing that old tread up, but I just want to say that nothing has changed much. I am using clicksor and I am getting $0.10 CPM not very good I guess..... :)
With adwords I was getting 10 times more.

Clicksor still has a long way to go to compete with the likes of Adsense

Clicksor is ok if you don't mind infecting your visitors with dangerous ads, even getting the red warning flag from Google search, problem is they only monitor ads after any complaints are made.
