SEO over very competitive keywords

Hello,

My question is simple , which is the best way to make SEO over very competitive keywords ? The answer i s not simple !

 

You need more links and page rank then other sites. Site must be optimized for the keywords also.

 

I don't think this is enough,
What about that website is submitted to 2000 link directories ! And 500 article directories both with higher rank !

 

That's what rcj66s meant. Offsite optimization(backlinks qty and quality) and onsite optimization. (code and content) are the two keys. The answer is simple it just takes time and effort which most people are not willing to commit.

 

Actually if you submit to that many directories it will be worthless. You need links from relevant sites with high PR.

 

Why would it be worthless? I have many pr4 links coming from free directories.

A yahoo directory listing helps as well which is not mentioned, once you have trust it is a question of getting more anchor text links then everyone else, what kind of directories did you submit to? If you paid someone to do free ones that would probably do you more harm then good, you need a unique link title and description for each directory (use quality paid directories as well), articles can help but submiting 1 article to 500 article sites is not worth a toffey, create different articles and submit each one to a different article site for best SEO benefit, good on-page seo comes in handy as well:

The answer is easy. Like others said, and its the same for low competition keywords. Get links and optimize your content. Same for any site.

Where the difficulty lies is in actually doing it. 2000 directories and 500 article directives will only be a drop in the bucket in the high competition keyword arena.

You'll need lots of high quality links from authority sites. Getting those is really hard, and/or costly.

Or, you need a site that is absolutely innovative, and preferably with a built in link bait feature, then everyone and their dog will freely throw you a link. The mass market has to recognize its uniqueness and innovations, not you simply thinking your baby is the best thing out there, because, frankly, its probably just the same old shit everyone else is trying.

 

Just get backlinks from revelant High PR Sites (PR6 and high) and optimize your contant!!
