Notepad is FREE :D (right click on HTML file > edit with notepad)

But when getting into website design, make sure you understand the code too.. and not just let the program do all of the work :p

Hard coding is the way to go, although I do use DW intellisense to write css quickly and to ensure I do not make typos.

:D   You don't know HTML lol... Just go down to the Bookstore and get HTML for dummies, that how I learned, I'm learning PHP right now.. Or you could just download the E-book version of HTML for dummies... HTML is easy to learn, cuz its not to complex... just have to remember it

I use DW....but I use DW 4...its the version I learned while working on my undergrad...I think it is by far one of the best programs to use, and now that adobe own its along with photoshop and imageready (the new ones are awesome btw..I love them) and flash, DW has become even more powerful.

ya use dreamweaver if your doing websites. Dont ever use frontpage or anyother software. Since dreamweaver is with adobe hopefully the two companies can make this software even better
