As the title suggests, I'm thinking of installing Vista via bootcamp on my 20" iMac. I haven't attempted anything like this before but I have Vista Ultimate edition but my PC isn't able to handle it. Would you install Vista on the Mac?
I actually just did this about...3 hours ago. Worked fine and with ease. Everything is working great. I'd say go for it!
Well I would because its easier to use if you're use to the PC haha, I'm getting the mac for the nice look and long battery life , not really for the OS
Lol Ive never known anyone too do this.. I wouldn't, because vista, from what Ive heard, has lowered their standards...Bill needs to start working if he doesnt want Apple to beat him out..So yes if you do put vista on a mac, your mad lol.. no offense JK
Well maybe is PC laptops were prettier and had better battery life for a decent price we wouldn't have to do this
why would you do that? is it just cause your used to windows? mac doenst take that long to get used to... i used only windows until a month or so ago when i started using mac and windows actualy feels weird.... go with mac
pls. don't do that my girl friend install vista on her iMAC, not happy at all. 99.99% of spywere, trojans and viruses are made for windows. But if like go you can find here what you need to do..
It's installed now and Vista is running like a dream on the MAC. No problems at all. It's a dual-boot remember so I still have OSX running. I received a free version of Vista from Microsoft and my PC wasn't good enough for it...I didn't see the point in wasting the free Vista so I put it on the MAC. No harm done
