If you dont have a preloader I would put one in.

also it is a fact that flash runs slower on the internet, there is nothing you can do it stop it.

well it also depends what is happening in the flash. if there are heaps of filter effects going on it will run slowly, but it might be <1mb. when .swf which only has a song in it will be >2mb but will run smoothly because all that is happening at the time is that song.

it loads quick enough for me, about 2 seconds. INSTALL A PRELOADER to stop blank space.

Oh i see what you mean.

It is just loading the rest of the page first because it is a smaller filesize. but since the flash is a bit bigger it takes a little bit longer to load.

Sometimes the use of tranparency can make a swf run slower, also, check the size of the photographs you are using in the original FLA, if they are heavy, you can optimize them in PS or any other graphics program.

I experience slow loading even when preloader is installed, but only happens if you use flash pro components like comboboxes, imageloader and etc.

If you are doing some flash using these components, u'll notice even ur preloader text comes out slow / white screen for quite some time before preloader kicks in. To rectify it, goto Settings then goto Flash tab -> under Actionscript click on small settings button. You will see a field called export for classes by default is 1, change it to 2.

This makes heavy loading(components and etc) in frame 2, instead of 1 making ur preloader appear first.
