Yes, but to get peace sometimes you have to be involved in a war. Look at the world war 2, if everyone said war is bad at that time when Nazi's were invading & people refused to fight because war is bad then everyone would be living under Nazi rule right now probably.

yet you must do everything possible to avoid war.we didn't, and we still don't and that is the problem.

But you have no idea if you've lost anything because you've never had to fight for any of your freedoms. Silver platter. You can self-loathe about your country over it (boo hoo hoo), but you can't figure out what you've lost?

Is that how liberal men lose their virginity too? "I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure I'm not a virgin?"

Hopefully they won't pick someone who quite arguably is guilty of treason. Granted, it suits the party and what it stands for, but America is not ready for that, yet.

the best thing that could happen to the GOP might possibly be shrillary's win in the primary....but I'm not real sure on that...I think the GOP would have a better chance over her than over osamabama.

    Back to topic...

"War on Terror" was a really stupid term. I loathe political correctness, but I just can't make myself support that term.

    Let's nominate new terms!

How do you summarize "War to Defend Ourselves Against Islam, Even Though We Have No Desire Ever to Defeat Islam"?

Can we call it "War to Not Lose" or "War to Stay Alive"?

What the hell kind of war is this that we are purposefully trying not to win? What the hell kind of upside down world are we living in? Hell, perhaps Western Civilization doesn't have what it takes to survive. Perhaps we'll be pushed out of existence by a more virile belief system. We certainly don't seem to be willing to prevent that.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. -- John Stuart Mill

If you don't know who John Stuart Mill is, I highly recommend that you educate yourself.

Was it in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, First Gulf war, Afghanistan or Iraq?

Talk by loud mouth sissy cheerleaders is cheap, come back when you decide to serve your country and ready to take a bullet for it.
