Alright, I'm being told constantly that if I work on the internet I'm not going to make any money, So my question is...

Is it really true that you make thousands of dollars a month... ..please dont BS me...

I really love this business, and I would like to learn more...

My goal is to be making $10,000 per month by the time I'm 18, I'm 14 right now and in the 8th grade;) is this practical is it possible, can I do it.. Any tips for me...

It is possible.. but RARE I must say. The internet is hard to make money (but so is a real job) I know I can barely pay the school bills and etc with what I earn now!

10,000 a month is a good bit for anyone, however it is def. possibly. If your friends and family are telling you that you can't do it, most likely you can! :)

But getting there is A LOT of work, even if you made that much with a career (doctor!) you'd have to work even harder! I think theres a mix of luck in all of this..

You can do it 2 ways...

    Work really hard
    Work really smart

I prefer the 2nd one. Think about this, if you set yourself up now, within 2-3 years, you should be making more per year than most college graduates make from their first job.

I like the way you think;) I am 14, but I do take 3 college level classes at my local community college... this summer I am thinking about taking a Advanced HTML, Php and Javascript course.. Would that be a good way to kick off...:)

Age doesn't matter - if you can coordinate a project and trade around for things that you don't know how to do (design/php, etc) -- then you'll do great!

It's possible but rare and unlikly. The internet today is full of websites so it's hard to climb up the ranks!

anyways making money through internet is not something to replace a normal job.

i don't belive that. you must be earning more than $1k+ a month easily.
but then i deponds on the place you are living, i live in a remote area of my country, so $1k is more than sufficient for me.

a real job makes a repuation, and when someone says, he dosenot do anything, stay in the home whole day, and work on his computer, perhaps that dosenot sound too good, but then am happy with the work.

yes $10k is a big ask, but then if you start at 14 you can achive that when you reach 18. start making sites, keep optimizing them, and in the next 4 years, you can be earning big money.

    anyways, being a webmaster rocks!
    cheers!:D

uhm, yeah that's a good start, really.

but aren't you jumping ahead of yourself here? i mean, when i was your age, i was still watching cartoons and making papier maches or whatever.

don't grow up too fast, all im saying :)

but, hey, child prodigies are unstoppable :)

Anything is possible if you have ambition, especially in the online world.

So here's a short answer to your question, yes, most definately.

PS: You'll meet many people who try to tell you what you can and cannot do, don't listen to them. :)

$10,000 a month is very doable if you know what YOU are doing, but it will take time to reach that goal. You are off to a good start!

Considering its made "from scratch" and you're only on the 9th grade, that's a lot!

I would say its possible :)

One way getting closer to your target is to set milestones. For example, target $1000 per month by end of this year and gradually increase to the final target. This helps as it has a greater motivation instead of seeing the 5 figures from scratch..

    Good luck :)
