How Does God Decide Whether You Are Eligible For Heaven or Not ?

I guess when you arrive at the gate of heaven you are
asked whether you are a sinner or not and then 99.99% starts thinking about what all sin he has commited in life , and gets internally very afraid to answer this question and there are few watch dogs who starts barking at him and chase him away from the gate of the heaven.

I hope there is such a thing as I think as with many I believe, the biggest fear is not so much what the after life is but is there an after life.

Let's face facts people, if there is a God which I hope in my heart of hearts that there is but sadly fear that there may not be, isn't a bit arrogant to assume that the entity responsible for creating the vast universes and all the glory that life has to offer can be understand by ultimately what are animals that use probably 5% of their brain power if they are lucky?

Writings go back 10k years, real value thought probably 7k years and we've only become studying the universe and body in the last 100 years to be fair. Can you honestly tell me that a civilization like this can truly comprehend what ever God may be?? Sadly, I don't think so.
