Do something you love, cause whatever you do will be hard work

There is absolutely no such thing as easy money. You HAVE to spend time, money, and talent in order to make a living.

Pick one thing you love and make a business around that.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but I think many of us need to hear now and again.

Stick to something you love, through thick and thin, and good things will come in the end.

Makes sense. If you like something you will want to work on it more.

So true. Years ago I used to provide vocational counseling to young college students. It is absolutely vital to go into a career field that you enjoy. You may spend the next 40 years in it, and you don't want to be chafing and fretting all the time.

My late father-in-law used to say, "That which you enjoy is not work." Find something you really like doing and make a career of it.

I do think this an important reminder. In this world we live in there is always some sort of energy exchange. That's why "easy money" really doesn't exist. There is always a consequence or result to actions. With a lot of passion an individual is putting in a lot of positive energy into one thing and so positive results will come. Maybe not in the way they expect but they do happen.

It's good advice, and it would prevent people from wasting their time on a lot of low-quality web sites.

    Not so true for me:

I love computers but get bored writing PHP scripts. I keep stopping working and coming on forums!!!!!!

My new Realty application was due out in March...I probably wont release it until July though!

Yes, but we can just categorize our time here as "professional training" and/or "networking" and then there's no need to feel guilty. :D
