    Hi,

Is there any way of sending money without the fees from the U.K. to the Philippines ? Fees are payable with Xoom but I presume Moneybookers is an option ?

These are the two coupon codes you can use to send money for free ( two times ), thru Xoom.

Yes. The minimum amount of transaction Xoom accepts is $25. For every $25 sent from a Paypal account to Xoom, the sender must pay a fee of around $3.50.

We use xoom to receive payments from Paypal account holders worldwide. The problem with xoom is that there's fees on BOTH sides of the transaction--sender pays a fee, receiver pays a fee.

I suggest you try EPASSPORTE.COM if you can. Epass is not perfect...not by a long shot but the xoom fees definitely got me thinking about alternatives.

Epassporte is great if both parties have it. The one who is receiving the funds would need the Visa Electron card or else there is no way to withdraw from it.

I guess no matter what options, someone will need to pay some fees somewhere along the line.

Moneybookers does not let you load your account for free so there would probably be some loading fees to the account then sending to someone else will cost you something too. Wire transfer is free but your bank will levy some charges.

Do Epass accepts payments from PayPal? I'm looking for alternatives to Xoom myself. At the moment, only Xoom allows me to receive payment from PayPal users.

Are you sure? The Philippines is not listed in the "supported countries" list. See: http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=fees I was going to sign up under your ref code.

as much as I have seen on there, they are willing to let people send payments to any part of the world. it might just not be the case that you could send it to your bank account. what you can do is request a cheque to be sended to a moneybooker account holder's Philippines address. I dont know whether it really makes sense to you.
