Directory Critic Down?

I have been trying to se my review links and have been getting an error message for Directory Critic. Anyone else seeing the same?

 

its been down all day, it totally sucks

 

Yanno, i been trying to promote my sites with that link and now my paid link is in the toilet. someone may get their subscription revoked for this crap.

 

Try to stay calm. Everyone has a server glitch some time. I'm sure it will be resolved very soon. Nothing to worry about. The owner is a very well respected member here.

 

I am working on this with tech support, should be back to normal soon.

Are you serious?? The site has been on and off, not totally down. I cannot control server downtime, this is the first time this has happened. I have been in contact with admin and they're looking into it.

What else do you want me to do? What subscription are you talking about? If you are advertising your site on DC give me your link and I will cancel it.

Geez man...it's not as if the site was down for a week...come one..

 

OK, after a 2 hour wait I got a response from support.

Hard drive upgrade on the server and new raid cards.

 

Don't ever take me too seriously...mase.

I was only foolin...you guys have been killer since I started up this directory thing.

Wait are you on a dedicated or on shared hosting environment and if on later didnt ur company inform u about the upgraded prior to actually doing it ..

But SFOD_D223 run to chilax man, its not like they ran off with your money, everyone has freaking downtimes..some short some longer...

 

good thing its back up , i signed up with them yesterday , a great place to find all the good directories

 

paidhosting, it's still on shared. I own 2 dedicated boxes, but the google scripts (PR checker and Indexed pages checker) don't work from any of the IP's I have. In fact, the server I'm on now is the only one I've tried that runs the scripts. This is why I have not moved DC to my dedicated boxes.

 

Yaa i know what you mean i am thinking of getting myself some hosting from dreamhost for my new directories . It sucks, let me guess u got boxes from LT also ?

 

Good point. Like I tell my customers. "Sometimes things just break". We've all had our share of problems. Patience is the best thing to have at times like this. I'm sure everything will get fixed.

 

exactly, sites can go down for many reasons.

 

yea..things just break sometimes..its always bad timing if your sites are down or you have clients looking

 

Or you lose money

 

I try to come back to a site when it´s been recommended to me and it´s down. I´ve had a few glitches myself. It´s not the end of the world.
