Picking the Right Domain for marketing and ease to remember

I am having a slight issue trying to figure out the best variation of the domain that I want to build my site with

For example it is the following,

    a{professional}resource
    {professional}resource
    a{professional}sresource
    {professional}sresource

    The {professional} is 6 characters :)

Want to make sure that I get the one that people will remember when I mention it to them

Thanks in advance, I know that there are a lot of smart helpful people here that will give me more than enough advice :D

    i think i'd pass on the "a"

from there, it's a little tough, and really would depend on the "word" that goes with it...

accountantresource and accountantsresource (example) - i like the first one better.

    IMHO

i agree..... leave out the 'a'. But don't think there is too much difference between having the plural or singular form. But word of advice, buy up BOTH domains, so that nobody else can use it to steal traffic from you when your sites become popular. ;)

i think "The" is the best variation for product related domains.

Buy both. Or depending on how close they all sound, you could buy all 4. Build the one you feel is 'primary', then redirect the other 3 to that site so type-ins of each one would all land at the same page.

Well since I asked this over a YEAR AGO I have already made the decision...I bought all and tested....

It turns out that second one works the best
