Tips to get high rep

Rep is an interesting issue. I want to buy services from people on this board but I can't start a thread telling people that I want to give them money. Interesting concept.

 

What do you mean? you want to give someone money for services? If you post in BST you're allowed to post if you are seeking ____ and willing to pay.

I'd give a tip but.... mainly... if you do post a useful post (or thread, which is even better!!) then you'll get a nice flow of green

 

i think it always should be given if a post is funny, that would liven up the forum too

Yes people do get reps when they post funny things and people like it.. but if you offend someone -> watch out for reds!

BEST threads are guides/lists, etc that people view often and a lot

That joke is funny in a cheesy way BTW (or for the sake that its not funny haha)

 

You usually get red reps for double posts.

You need 100 each time I think.

Lol...I would have to give him a red rep if he did that. Vista sucks, full of bugs still, or so I've heard.

 

Screw that, I'd sell it to someone and give him a green rep.

 

Green rep is easy. You just go buy a copy of the book, "The Secret", read it cover to cover, and every day, before you post on DP forums, you just need to tell yourself, "I will get green rep today!"

Just be careful to *specifically* ask for green "rep", and not just "greens." (or you may find yourself eating a lot of kale)
