I used to get traffic between 100 and 130 unique a day from google and now it's completely slow down to 5 to 10 unique a day from google.
I'm not sure if I'm sandboxed. Is there a way that you tell by running some command? I used SEO Elite to get the link from google for my website.
Is that a cause for this slow down?

I also read some guideline from google where they talked about not to use some automated tool to send request to google.

I had two problem were going on prior to slow down of the traffic.
    1) Used automated tool SEO Elite to get the link for site, so that I can better target my meta tags. Is that wrong using it?
    2) Google reported in my webmaster tool that they had difficulty crawling my half of my site and reported as Network connection problem.

I also ran some duplicate content search for duplicate. Just one url is listed as duplicate content.

Can some shed some light on what might have caused this slow down traffic from google?

No, there is no way you can check for sandbox by running a command. (There is debate as to whether the sandbox exists or not, too).

Running automated queries on Google without an API is not a good idea, but I doubt that is the problem.

How long was traffic at good levels for before it dropped? Sometimes will rank a new site OK for a few days, then drop it back and you have to work your rankings back up slowly.

In my oppinion it can't be sandboxed if the site is 5 to 6 months old. The sandbox use to hit the page 2-3 weeks after being indexed first time.

If you are working in the gambling or erotic industry there is no doubt of some kind of sandbox effect. It is nearly impossible to have google succes with an international gambling affiliate site within first 1-2 years.

There is only one way to get out of sandbox. Work, work, work, work and work to improve the site.

deffo sandbox, i optimized a horse racing tipster site that was 2 years old and had page rank of 2 and got it to page 2 of google for keyword horse racing tips, i then got another job for a horse racing tipster site that had pr of 0 and was 2 weeks old and i did exactly the same for the 2nd site, i contacted ht e same sites i did for the 1st site and got the same links and number of links and it is nowhere to be seen yet, the site is like 2 and half months old now, but i suspect the results will take 6 months.

you site seems to be old which means that you are not in sandbox. Start link building again...
