Huh? What are they doing that is breaking the rules? This is not uncommon to bunch a toolbar in a browser.

i think what the thread starter tried to say is, the website is camouflaged as the firefox official website and the link to download firefox is actually an advertisement from adsense

I see what he is saying now, I did not relize that it was a fake site. Yes, I believe this is a violation. I thought it was an official site. Daniel, I would report it, if that is what you were asking.

Is it violation? I don't think so. I used to see another site with similar appearance, and asked user to click 'here' to download..

I can not swear to it but you cannot ask people to click on any ads, yet the site is coming across as though they are a download site for Firefox and if you click on the ad, it takes you to Google for the download. I can't imagine that would not violate the TOS. It would be like me designing a search engine and hiding the fact that it is Google search.

I believe they are inside the Google Adsense TOS from the following quote:

Seriously.. why is everyone hear worried about reporting others? Who cares? Stop being a snitch and spend that time on your own site.

Cause those reporting have been burned already by those fraud invalid clicks bans.

Even if he is breaking TOS, don't report it, just see what happens. Chances are you might accidentally break it in the future and you wouldn't want someone dobbing you in.

I don't really think the site breaks the rules. It's a bit of a grey area even if one reads through the Google TOS.

I'm not the kind of douche that goes out reporting people. (when I said I was going to report him, I didn't actually mean it, I'm too lazy anyways). Well, I just started with adsense so I was just curious :D

you are allowed to make a site like that.the only thing i see wrong is they use a link instead if the ones adsense provides, but i'm not sure on that one.

Just "because you've seen other sites doing it" is not a defense I would use in a court of law lol
