haha, I don't understand this. No doubt that your site looks great, but aren't there plenty that are just like it. Please excuse the newb, but why does everyone hop right on board this site while my iunctio.110mb.com is struggling to get a couple of posts even though it comes at this from a new angle?

Nothing great about the directory, currently it's the template. I will need to maintain it with a high standards and getting backlinks for it to be a good quality directory. Right now it's just a directory.

About your directory? It has the word Register and alot of people do not like to register as they do not have any time to do that.

Submittion is a time process, unless you have a PR5 directory, then they will make the time to register becuase they feel it's worth it at that point.

 

Funny you should mention the 'register' bit. I had just put that image in as a way of saying how FAST it is.... In any case, I've changed that image now. Really though, since there's no e-mail confirmation, it takes the same amount of time to post something on my site as your own, so I suppose it just comes down (in that regard) to the impression of how fast it will be.
Anyway, thanks for pointing that out, I didn't want to be giving anyone the wrong impression.

Unless I am missing something, aren't you comparing oranges to apples? This one is a directory and yours is a forum. Most people will link to a directory really fast but they just won't sign up fo forums. I had a 100 links in 10 minutes on my directory and have a hard time getting to 20 members on my forum.

 

Were can i get a download of the templete?

I suppose so. The irony is that there isn't actually any difference in time, in fact my site may even be faster. It's too bad that more people don't realize that, and I'm not sure there's a way to explain that on the site.
One thing I don't really get, is why do people post in directories? I do, because people who appear to know what they are doing do it. But aren't there thousands of basically the same thing? Do they get you traffic, or is it just a page rank thing? The goal of my site (iunctio.110mb.com) is to do a little bit of both, but mostly just to help new sites establish contacts and links from other sites...

Directories are for advertising and for backlinks and forums are for posting. people are not posting directories they are palacing a link ad. Your forum would be worthless if everyone joined and just put in a link and no post.
